It's all about me

I can never find my crochet hooks because I leave them all over the house so this morning I decided to make myself a present to reward my bad behavior.
When I was younger Olivia was not a popular name and I could never find anything with my name written on it.  These days it's everywhere but having a pencil with your name on it at 31 is not the same as when you're 6.
Now this is no pencil, so I am pleased as punch to have my name scrawled on the front in my very own handwriting.  I haven't quite decided on the button so it is not attached yet.  I'm either going with this one or maybe a wooden button, not sure yet.
I am very happy with how it turned out and it will be getting used today.

  1. You are so talented!

Olivia is such a pretty name - I've always assumed it was common enough.

The button works, by the way. :-)

  12. I desperately want to learn to crochet..! I tried sewing but I would need a more professional machine since the one I got at urban outfitters can't exactly handle a lot of fabrics..
    Love what you made!!

  16. And I could never find anything with my name on it because one of the 1000000000 other Jennifers or Jennis had already snatched it up. :)

  18. Awesome! I still love things with my name on them because I usually see variations of my name, but never the exact same spelling!
