A bad blogger's craft room

I guess I haven't been online recently.  If I'm going to be honest it's been a mixture of too tired and too lazy.  Seems like by the time I get home from work all I want to do is sit around and veg out.  Most recently I got back into playing Animal Crossing City Folk on the Wii.  If you've ever played the game you'd understand how much time it sucks out of your life.  I am truly addicted, I've been playing since the GameCube version came out back in the day.
My craft room has been neglected as well.  Stuff is just piling up on top of each other, so many unfinished projects so little time.
I keep all my in progress crochet projects on this chair.  The dogs shed so much I have to keep it away from anything they touch.  I currently have 5 blankets that have yet to be completed, I have a problem with finishing projects.

Here are a few peeks into my room... I never realized it was so colorful.
There is so much more going on in this room but I will save that for next time.

I would love to see everyone else's space.  Please leave some links so we can visit :)

  1. I love your craft room I am so jealous in a good way of course lol so many cool colors!

I will have to check out that game do they have its for DS

  2. I'm glad I'm not the only one with an Essie collection that massive!!

    A Sweet Release

  3. I absolutely love this room! how could you not be inspired to create? :)

  4. i love your chair full of unfinished projects!

i don't blame you on being lazy/tired about blogging. it happens to the best of us sometimes.

  5. Your craft room is so pretty! Your chair looks extra cozy with all the blankets on it, tbh.
And I've been on the lazy about blogging train as well, though, I might make a post tomorrow (later today).

  6. Oh you have so many cute items!! Last time I love to get those stickers as well!

  7. I want to live in your craft room. It seems like such a happy place. : )

P.S. I just taught myself how to crochet but I can't figure out how what stitch it is that you use on your afghans. I used a How to Crochet book, but it pretty much only has three stitches. Any recommendations on where to find more info?

  8. Your pile of crocheted blankets. I love them. Especially the cream/red/pink/green one- it reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake!!

It's incredible that you're making all of them! After seeing your pile, I'm inspired to make my own crochet blanket. I've been wanting to for a while, but I think now might be the time.

P.S. I'm also curious, like Stephanie is, about what stitch pattern you are using. *^__^*v

  9. Thanks for the sweet comments about my room. A lot of hard work went into building this room, it actually an addition and I did all the mudding and drywall sanding myself :)

Carrie: Yes, it is on the DS. Animal Crossing Wild World.

    Annika: I LOVE the Essie!!

    Stephanie and Knitted fox:
The blankets pattern is called a granny stripe. It is 3 US double crochet made into each space.

Stephanie: I find patterns I like then I usually just look online if there is a stitch they use that I am not familiar with.

  10. your craft room is incredible!! you are so creative!!

  11. Hahaha I TOTALLY feel you on having a ton of blankets that aren't quite finished! I just can't help it, I think I'm addicted to knitting and crocheting blankets! I should take a photo of all of the ones I have on the go. ;)

  12. Your craft room is better than mine. I have my jealous face on.
